Durability for up to 100 years

• The use of a special REHAU material formulation has been proven to ensure extreme durability.
• The REHAU district heating PE-Xa carrier pipes are tested in accordance with the requirements of DIN EN 15632 and are independently certified by the IMA Dresden.
• Modern low-temperature heating networks with e.g. flow temperature of 65 °C in continuous operation have a service life of at least 100 years.
• Compared to standard PE-Xa pipes in accordance with DIN 16892 and DIN 16893, this achieves a service life that is up to 70% longer.

Systems for a permanently secure supply

• Integrated system of pipe & jointing technique:
  System approval for PE-Xa service pipes and fittings in accordance with ISO 15875-5 by IMA Dresden.
   
• Longitudinally watertight corrugated pipe:
  Prevention of moisture penetration in the pipe insulation.
   
• Sealed shroud systems (secondary insulation):
  Clip- and heat-shrink shrouds with proof of a sealed integrated system in accordance with EN 489 and additional increased testing requirements.

• Since 1987, the compression sleeve press system invented by REHAU has been used successfully. Durably sealed without O-rings In 2023, the mark of one billion connections worldwide was reached.
   
• Long-term monitoring and load testing of pipe systems in the accredited REHAU laboratory since 1979.
