AWADUKT pipes remain intact for 100 years without limitations. TÜV Rheinland (Technical Inspection Agency) and the LGA (Bavarian State Trade Agency) Nuremberg have confirmed this. The high-quality, unfilled polypropylene material is a guarantee of durability. Together with the high minimum wall thickness in accordance with DIN EN 1852, this forms the basis for a unique assessment: according to the Landesgewerbeanstalt (LGA) Nuremberg, the AWADUKT PP SN10/16 high-load sewer pipe systems from REHAU achieve a service life of at least 100 years. The same applies to AWASCHACHT PP DN 1000. The LGA report is based, among other things, on studies of the long-term behaviour of the high-quality polypropylene, as well as extensive computational tests of the embedded chamber using the so-called finite element method (FEM), in which the geometry of the chamber was precisely recorded, and its strength calculated in detail. The future-proof chamber has a modular design and consists of an injection-moulded cone, chamber ring and base. As the components are made entirely of unfilled polypropylene, the system is extremely robust, even at low installation temperatures. It is also characterised by high chemical resistance.
