RAUFRIGO cooling pipe system. Pre-insulated, for large spans

The RAUFRIGO cooling pipe is made of polymer material, insulated with rigid polyurethane foam and finally coated with a rigid folded spiral-seam tube. The system is used in production, industrial refrigeration, air conditioning, freezing systems, refrigerated warehouses, solar systems, outdoor and indoor installation and much more. Broad spans can be achieved due to the low weight and the rigid design of the RAUFRIGO cooling pipe.

Benefits

Large spans

Rigid pipe construction for large spans

Material properties

Low linear expansion compared to polymer pipes, high mechanical strength

Icon: tool

Fast installation

Simple jointing technique, suitable for standard bracket clamps (no need for cold clamps)

Almost completely pre-insulated RAUFRIGO standard pipe

Almost completely pre-insulated
The RAUFRIGO standard cooling pipe is supplied pre-insulated in a total length of 6 metres. The pipe ends are exposed to establish the connection.

RAUFRIGO pipes running along the ceiling

Low weight
The duct bundle with a polymer carrier pipe results in a low overall weight. This has advantages for the dimensioning and number of suspensions and makes installation easier.

Low linear expansion of the RAUFRIGO standard pipe

Low linear expansion
The RAUFRIGO standard cooling pipe has an average linear thermal expansion coefficient of 0.015 mm/mK. With a pipe length of 30 metres and a temperature difference of 20K, this results in a change in length of only 9 millimetres.

6 m span of the RAUFRIGO standard version

Large spans possible
The maximum span of the RAUFRIGO standard version is 6 metres. This is achieved when the insulating sleeve is additionally riveted as reinforced insulation with PUR shroud foam. The standard insulation with PUR shroud foam has a span of 3 metres.

RAUFRIGO pipes are fastened with standard bracket clamps

No cooling clamps required
Do away with costly cooling clamps for these cooling pipe system. RAUFRIGO pipes can be fastened flexibly with standard bracket clamps, as these rest on the outer jacket of the insulation.

Pre-insulated cooling pipe system RAUFRIGO

For the transport of coolants, cooling brines and other industrial media

RAUFRIGO cooling pipes consist of a base pipe made of PE 100, to DIN 8074/75, in black, a rigid polyurethane foam insulation and a galvanised folded spiral-seam tube as a rigid outer casing. The folded spiral-seam tube has an additional vapour barrier incorporated into the rebate. The REHAU electrofusion coupler is used for the jointing technique. As soon as the connection is made and the pressure is tested, they can be insulated using insulation sleeve and polyurethane shroud foam.

Benefits

  • Temperature-resistant from -40°C to +50°C
  • Standard, PE and FW pipe variants
  • Extensive range of fittings for joining pipes
  • Prefabricated insulation sleeves subsequently insulate the electrofusion fitting joint quickly using PUR shroud foam
